Award Winning: Surface Design Association’s Outstanding Student Award for 2024


For this collection two different lace stitches were designed.

The Crawling Lace Stitch which utilizes central double decreases (CDD), knit 2 together (k2tog), slip slip knit (ssk), yarn over (yo), and basic knit (k) and purl (p). Which creates a visual similar to crawling vines.

The Cable Lace Stitch utilizes a centered cable worked over 3 stitches (1/1/1 LPC), a left cable worked over 2 stitches (1/1 LC), a right cable worked over 2 stitches (1/1 RC), central double decreases (CDD), knit 2 together (k2tog), slip slip knit (ssk0), yarn over (yo), and basic knit (k) and purl (p). Which creates a visual similar to branches.
